Dessert Riesling
2005 Vintage
Golden straw colour. A cascade of interesting aroma notes; honey, honeysuckle, lemon/lime, marmalade, glacé fruit. Big mouthful of flavour, great length, with an unctuous, nectar-like character. Excellent sugar/acid balance, finishes clean.
The wine will change character and develop well with many years of careful cellaring, but is a wonderful drink right now. Try it with Crème Brulee, Panna Cotta, poached fruits, good cheese.
